spook farm (learned behavior)

I had a studio in a mill in uxbridge, ma. called the spook farm. once a week, my
studio mate would have a 'pah-ty!' and invite the craziest characters- creatures of
the mill: one armed, one legged, blindingly drunk, loud music, etc- absolute chaos.
i took this spinning footage of them one night in order to capture their energy.
the mill burned down in july. there are no more of these weekly occurences. i took
the footage and i projected it in a space and watched it for 3 days, mimicking their
gestures and words, drinking, spinning, yelling. once i understood their chaos and
freedom, i performed along with the video, which was about 21 minutes long.
